I wanted to take some time to highlight some of the great posts I’ve been reading over the past week or so and provide a little link love!

My StumbleUpon Analysis – A Poor 500% Traffic Increase – Jamie Harrop did an fantastic job and analyzing his StumbleUpon traffic both the positives and the negatives. I just recently received a bunch of stumble traffic and can agree with his sentiments.

Quitting the Day Job: Finding the Guts to Pursue Your Dreams – Get Rich Slowly talks about his plan to quit his day job and become a full-time blogger, but he’s not jumping in with both feet forward. He’s slowly inching his way into the full-time blogging arena. I hope that one day I can write a similar article.

Dominate the Ebay Affiliate Program: $0 – $155 with 1 Website – Stuart over at Earner’s Blog discusses how he’s making a hefty sum creating eBay affiliate stores via the phpBay wordpress plugin. It’s a great idea and for the minimal investment (less than $100) you can start your own store as well. Well worth the time for those with some marketing skills.

Is Your Day Job Ruining Your Motivation? – In case you missed it, I wrote earlier this week about my day job and it’s effects on my motivation and work ethic when I work on my internet ventures after work.       Great list of articles. I think the first article reminds us that conversion and visitor loyalty are key components -not just traffic. Unfortunately, learning how to make the most of social media traffic can be a challenge.
